BIGGEST Saturday in SEC History!

I am completely looking forward to this Saturday! Being a huge SEC Football fan, I get to watch two of the best games that College Football can have to offer. #1 LSU vs #2 Alabama and #7 Arkansas vs #9 South Carolina! I am completely elated for both of these games!

I will be more closely watching the Arkansas game versus South Carolina because I am a die hard Arkansas Razorback fan. I am not going to lie though, this game scares me. The way Arkansas has been opening up against team is horrendous! They haven't done anything in the 1st half pretty much the whole season. Arkansas can't afford to do this against a very good South Carolina team that has a lot riding on this game.

For both Arkansas and South Carolina, there is a lot to play for. South Carolina is tied in the SEC East and a win on Saturday would pretty much launch them into the SEC Championship game against, most likely the winner of LSU Alabama. Arkansas has pride to play for, as well as a chance to earn their second straight BCS Bowl appearance. If Arkansas can win against South Carolina, they ultimately control their own destiny and fate for their bowl season.

An Arkansas win, puts them in collision course for a great LSU team on November 25th! And that game has a chance to be the game to decide which second SEC team makes it into the BCS. I do believe even if an SEC doesn't play for the National Championship that an At Large BCS team would have to be the second best team in the SEC. And with an Arkansas team that returns a lot of the same players as last years team that beat LSU, I can easily see Arkansas beating a very talented LSU team.

Ultimately, I see Arkansas handling South Carolina. I am going to put out a prediction of 38-27. We'll see how that unfolds!

Next on deck is clearly the game of the year. But I think it may turn out to be a spoiler, or a game that isn't built up to be what it is. I believe Alabama is a far greater team than LSU. Behind the legs of Trent Richardson, my favorite for the Heisman behind Andrew Luck, I don't see LSU stopping him. He is just too physical and fast. And the Alabama D is basically an NFL defense with the way they are set up. I don't see them having a problem beating LSU.

I have never been a big fan of teams that try to run two QB's. I feel it doesn't give your team as great of a chance to win. Not saying you can't win with two QB's. But I feel your chances are greater with only one. This will put LSU at a disadvantage. Teams have a hard time gelling when they don't have just one QB to run things.

Look for this game to be a bit of a disappointment in my opinion. I am going to go with Alabama beating LSU 34-21.

Well, that's it for now. Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to leave any comments or feedback!
